Album review of Save Rock and Roll by Fall Out Boy
WARNING! I’m a bit biased since well hey it IS Fall Out Boy!
It’s been over a week since my copy of Save Rock and Roll arrived. I was so excited to finally listen to it! My advice to FOB fans, don’t expect the same old. But hey since when have any of their albums sounded the same. They have always changed/tweaked their sound. My only complaint is a little bit more Rock and Roll would have been nice. Besides that, SRAR is a great album. However, it is not my favorite.
Complete album: 4.3
It’s hard to make every song 5/5 since there’s always room for improvement.
1. “The Phoenix” 5/5
2. “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)” 5/5
3. “Alone Together” 4/5
4. “Where Did the Party Go” 4/5
5. “Just One Yesterday” (featuring Foxes) 4/5
6. “The Mighty Fall” (featuring Big Sean) 3/5
7. “Miss Missing You” 4/5
8. “Death Valley” 5/5
9. “Young Volcanoes” 5/5
10. “Rat a Tat” (featuring Courtney Love) 4/5
11. “Save Rock and Roll” (featuring Elton John) 4/5
